Peter Lion had been inclined towards writing from a very young age. Throughout his growing up years in Connecticut he was seen dabbling in poetry as well as wrote a number of short stories. His talent within this field was further perfected when after enrolling in the Notre Dame High School in Connecticut he started contributing to the students school newspaper.

He got down to create a career of his passion with the words first by getting a degree in Journalism from the Southern Connecticut State University. He printed his very first magazine article inside the Hartford Magazine before he graduated with his journalism degree.

He entered into the television business before he’d finished his college. A few months before graduation, Peter Lion took up employment with WTNH-TV as a part time graphics operator. Peter Lion relocated to Pittsburg and joined KADA TV after completing two years in this start up. He then moved back to Connecticut and was a part of ESPN sports network. Still a part of ESPN, he’s in charge of a variety of their shows like Sports Centre as well as the NFL Draft in his position within the organization as a Director. His primary show however, remains, College Gameday.

He has been a two time winner of the Emmy awards, although he’s been nominated many times for his contribution while in the television industry. He got his first Emmy for his work with Sports Centre and received his second Emmy for the show NFL countdown.

Besides working, Peter Lion is presently working on his second book. He’s additionally a part of a band that goes by the name of Cheaper than Therapy” and is also its lead singer and guitarist
